"A wonderful gem in Wetzlar. The terrace is located at the back of the Lahnufer and is wonderfully cozy. We were there for coffee and cake. The milk coffee was huge, the cinnamon chick super delicious. Only the mascarpone cake got a little too little sugar, but otherwise we were very happy. The view of the Lahn is wonderful. After the cafe visit, you can practically spit into the lahn and see with some luck bisamratten (see picture the cafe is the gray house). The staff was friendly and nice, even this is no longer self-evident. The interior is also attractive and nicely furnished."

"Going for ice cream in Germany is not comparable to doing it in the US. The selection, presentation, taste are all a step above. Eiscafe Bacio has a lovely little shop deep in the heart of the old city. Glamorous decadent ice cream concoctions are brought in real glass and are more like works of art. And for all the glitz, the price is still less than going to Dairy Queen in the states. An absolute treat for the eye and pallete."

"I've been back to Lahn Café for a long time with two girlfriends for breakfast and it was a super nice morning. It was great despite Monday, but fortunately we have the last, most beautiful place in the rear corner with a sweet sofa. The breakfast buffet goes until 1 p.m. and since we were relatively late (13h there, perfect! Fresh croissants-very tasty-and I am often in France; rolls, cheese, cold cut, yoghurt, cereal, egg, tomatoes, orange juice-all that wants the heart for 8.50€! After that we looked at the Lahnterasse, where you can sit directly on the Lahn. What the next time... Thumb up and thanks to the nice owners/services... Last time we were always at noon... homemade soups and cakes."
