"Our driver, Francesco S, took us to this Enoteca la Cascina. We had asked to go to a place where we could do some wine tasting. It was a much more rewarding experience than any previous wine tasting (note: we have been to some great wineries in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York). We met the owner Tommaso at his wine shop and Italian specialty story across from the restaurant. We thought we would taste the wines here. We were then escorted across the street to his restaurant where our driver, Francesco, told (in rapid Italian) what we wanted to taste. Five wines and five dinner courses follow, each one better than the previous one. Our servers Saverio and Rosella surprised us at every turn. Such outstanding wine, food, and service. A young female patron then help translate our thanks to Tommaso. And to top off the evening, Saverio (Tommaso's son) drove us back to our hotel. Once in a lifetime experience with some great paesanos on our trip of a lifetime (10th anniversary). Ciao bella and molto grazie, Nicola Elizabeth Parisi"

"If you want to eat excellent meat this is the right place. we took a Calabrian appetizer and one of really great turtles . according to the pork stylus and in high beef fillet three fingers cooked well out and to the blood in so soft that it looked like butter. to finish really good lemon sorbet. average high prices...but for the quality of raw materials everything was there."
