"This is a really great cafe. Just up the rd from Deakin at the set of shops closest to Station St. Have been there before only a couple times ages ago and it didnt stand out to me. However, this Thursdays lunch completely changed that!! It was great! I ordered the Morrocan tagine with beans, spinach, cheese and a poached egg. I added bacon but wasn't 100% necessary. Came with a Couple of slices of dark rye bread and I bloody loved it. Breakfast menu til 3pm is a win win. They have a cute little unassuming courtyard out the back which is lovely. The only thing was the long black was terrible. No coffee taste at all as it was too watery."

"We are regular diners at Loong Palace for three reasons great food, well priced in a friendly atmosphere. We have probably tried most dishes on an extensive menu covering Chinese, Malay and Thai cuisine. You can sample ‘aussie style” Asian dishes or have authentic meals, your choice, but always large portions, sometimes too much, quality ingredients and well cooked.We have never had a bad meal, though of course we have some favourites like the combination omelette and several others.Loong Palace is strictly BYO which helps keeps the cost down. It is family run and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with rapid and efficient service.Loong Palace is usually crowded and there isn’t much room, with laminated tables and hard chairs, but you go for the food, at very reasonable prices so don’t expect five star accommodation. If you want a quality meal, without breaking the bank served rapidly and efficient in the Eastern Suburbs, look no further than Loong Palace."

"As per my review title !! Thank you for being 100% consistent every single time. There are very few places that are consistent on my list this is one of them. Always enjoy the noisy, quirky friendly nature of this place. Indoors or outside it 's always been great. though I am not a big fan of customers bringing in their dogs that are clearly not 'assistance dogs ' I am sure that no one is bending the rules for customer 's fury friends."

"Terrible service. Waited almost one hour for noodles! Pad Thai I ordered had very little other ingredients other than the noodles. Prawns r the frozen tasteless kind. It's a genuinely terrible experience. There are many other Malaysian restaurants that are much better."

"We went here last Saturday and the restauatrant is located on Burke Road, close to Camberwell Station and Burwood Rd. The tables are not packed in, you can hear each other speak and the food is just sensational- spicy but not over hot, a good selection of seafood, chicken, pork and vegetables in Malaysian style- potato prawns were a new find- just sensational! Very reasonably priced with a really lovely ambience"

"The pork with crispy skin is usually very good here. So are the noodle dishes and the fried rice. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes good. Service is polite and if you aren't sure what something is, the waitstaff are happy to explain. Food is served quickly, so it's good for a fast meal if you don't feel like cooking at home."
