"It's set up as a fast food take-out. But honestly: It's also nice to sit and dine there. And chat with the owner, e.g.. It has 2 doors: One from St. Thomas Rd. and one from Moore's Pl.. Choose whichever you prefer. They are producing among the best Fish&Chips in all of GB. Not kidding. The cook has all the experience anyone can have concerning fish, obviously. This is worth mentioning and something to write home about. And then, in all the rising prices and inflation mayhem, it's not even expensive. Fish (be it cod bites, which are a dish of its own, be it cod or haddock) is fried to the very point of neither being mushy nor dry nor unbaked, just 100% perfect and then in this crispy, crunchy crust with so much flavour of its own. The fish itself is very fresh and has more flavour than I expected, very nutty, lovely. Chips are thick Flamish style and live off a very crispy exterior and soft interior with very potatoey aroma. I think, they're made Belgian style with 2 different frying processes at different temperatures. Lavish process, but the result is worth it. They have some of the rarest lemonades to choose from, as well. Something to contemplate instead of beer. I do, every time. Worth it. Caveat: Extremely popular spot, waiting times can be a bit longer. And: Dining in, you have to live with a stream of clients going through. Still: Hungry? In the area? This is the place to go. Outrageous value for money. Recommendation to the owner: Get some real vinegar in addition to the sauce you offer. That is the expectation when you come to GB. Yes, almost everywhere else, vinegar on chips is considered yuck. Tell someone from the Mediterranean that they should put vinegar on their French Fries: You risk to be fried, yourself. But in Britain, this just has to be. I love it."

"Had takeaway Chinese from this takeaway several times each time I have a cold and not very good and when you go back and say something about it just look at you as though you’re silly it’s the last time last night waiting nearly half hour for a takeaway and I got home and most of it was cold.... too much effort to take it back... don’t waste your money it’s too hard to earn"

"Visited here for my jubilee . I had not heard of it or noticed it from my local travel, it is hidden away, but wow what a surprise. there was a very warm reception in front of the house staff that was eating excellent with extremely good portions, the fish was perfectly cooked. it is not a cheap restaurant, but it is a fine restaurant with a wonderful ambiente. perfect for groups or a few like us. we will definitely visit again."

"I'd give Seagrille and 3.5/5. They cook here definitely some fantastic meals and there are only a few things I would change/predict. My friend and I stayed for the night and decided to go to the Seagrille for dinner. Our waiter was fantastic, he was super attentive and really enjoyed chatting. He would give us a head when our meals were coming and that they were a delay on the bread bowl and he apologized for it. It was obvious that the kitchen was busy as the food service slowly came out. We ordered the prawn appetizer that was super tasteful (recommend) and for net I had the Sable fish and my partner had the Ahi Tuna. The Sable fish was killer, perfectly cooked and melted like butter (highly recommended). The Ahi tuna was sent too perfectly and came with a really beautiful squid. The bread bowl finally made it on the table and it was too super fresh and warm, the salty butter really melted beautifully into the white crust bread. Our experience was pleasant for dinner. The next morning we drove back to Brunch to Seagrille and I got the Lox and Bagel and my divider got the Veggie Benedict. The ox were definitely on the salty side and a few dry tips to laugh, but overall it was good. I would take 100% the garnish of a tomato and chopped kale, it looks sad and confused on the dish. As for Veggie Benedict, it was good, but the Hollandaise was quite dry up, so I think it was either waiting under the heat too long or simply not fast enough after the court was plated. The eggs were breathtaking, a deep orange yellow! My darling! All in all, a great experience."
