"Emersons brewery had a great atmosphere, so vibrant and welcoming. Morgan was our waiter, he heard all our annoying menu questions with patience and enthusiasm. The food was crazy good with really nice favor combinations! Overall a great experience, definitely come back and back to our friends!"

"We heard so many favourable comments about this place, we had to try it. My wife has a gluten and wheat allergy, so we phoned first to make sure they could provide food that wouldn't send her to hospital in anaphylaxis. Apparently no problem, so we booked. On arrival we asked again about safe food, and talked with the staff about gluten free wheat free options The first dish out had slices of bread on the plate beside the food. We pointed this out to the waitperson, who apologised and took the plate away. She came back a minute later with the same plate, the same food, minus the bread (but with some bread crumbs still present). We pointed out that this was enough to cause a severe allergic reaction. The food was duly taken away, and we were presented with the same food but now on a different plate. Sigh. Was the Chef trying to kill my wife? At this stage we felt that it was unsafe for my wife: how could we trust a place with such a cavalier attitude. So we left, unfed, and very upset. We were told that we would be phoned the next day with an apology but after 10 days we haven't heard from the restaurant We won't trust this place ever"

"Note: menu on zomato is outdated, check their website <br/ <br/ Just had lunch here today. We ordered the pan fried halloumi, lamb fettuccine and the market fish with chorizo and olives. <br/ <br/ The market fish was monkfish and it was cooked perfectly! The chorizo and tomato was a good match with it. The fried halloumi salad was also very good and came with kumara pumpkin potato and spinach. I feel the lamb fettuccine was quite bland but the amount of lamb given was very good for the price. <br/ <br/ The service was super friendly and wasn't a long wait time :"

"This restaurant is excellent with helpful, obliging staff and the quality of the yum cha was superb. Particular favourites were the sticky rice and the red bean cakes. Numerous customers and bedlam but nothing was a problem and it was very affordable!"

"We were planning on having brunch at Booster Greens but they were packed out. Walked past Golden Island and the menu photos caught our eye. We went in and the place was spotless and clean. Lady at the counter was welcoming and seated us straight away. You can see into the cooking area and it is so so clean!!! The food came out promptly and honestly so tasty and delicious. Great price for a lot of yum kai. Most definitely recommend!!!"
