"Service was pretty good and dishes did come out very fast. The Shanghai noodle was very good. But other dishes were average in smoked fish, Xiao long bao, salty soy milk and turnip cake. In opinion Shanghai Grill is better than this place."

"I've never been in this restaurant but my friend told me she had noodles there and it was good so we decided to order in. They have their menu online and we decided to get the Dinner for 2 which include chicken fried rice, beef with mixed veggies (celery, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli and cabbage), choice of spring rolls, egg roll or green onion cake (we got 4 spring rolls), and then you choose an entrée and we picked sweet and sour pork. The price is $13.95/person so we were short a few dollars to get free delivery (within 6 km) so I added the black bean beef and rice noodles for $10.95.The man who took my order wasn't the friendliest but efficient as the order arrived within 30 minutes and correct. There was a lot of food to last a few meals. The rice and noodles were filled to the top of the rectangular containers and the round take out tins were also filled well.The food taste and quality was good and better than another take out place we've tried. Would order from them again and next time try the chow mein and a seafood dish."

"The food was delicious and wait staff and very accommodating. The venue is really cool, it’s an old house converted to a restaurant only thing that I was kind of put off about was it did take a long time in between drinks and meal and dessert. So dinner was about 2.5 hours long. I think I’m so used to having the drinks ordered than the meal then dessert kind of fast paced that it felt like a really long time but that being said I really didn’t make me enjoy the experience more and actually digest my food so there might be some science behind it that they make you wait longer . But yeah I highly recommend the food was super awesome and the drinks for really good and the dessert was great."

"Our family has been regulars at the wonton restaurant for years. In the beginning the food was good and price is reasonable. Recently, the quality and taste of food not so great, stir fry beef ho-fun noodle was not presentable, noodles are lumpy and small tiny pieces of beef are broken in pieces with lots of oil. Their price also gone up at least twice since end of last year, however; the food quality went down in same speed.We used to see other people ordered set meal before due to its value. We were surprised to see that there were hardly anybody ordered set meals with rice, soup and dessert anymore. Almost all people ordered single plate with rice on side or fry mien noodles. We believe it is related to their unrealistic price mark-up. Meal for two plus tax plus tips, easily over $45. Average a la carte plate or noodle at $16 to $18 range. It is understandable if the quality is there and not so in this case."

"My wife and I have been going to Bistecca on and off since it opened. Decided to have nice dinner out for the 2 of us,made reservation and once we arrived we were seated right away. Were greeted by the server indicating he and a partner would be taking care of us, ordered our wine and that was at 6:45 pm. So, by 7:40 when approached , indicated we were feeling quite forgotten about. Server didn't apologize, said we had gotten slammed with customers coming in, took our order and that was it, so an enjoyable night out wasn't turning out that way. Manager came over and addressed situation, prior to arrival of the food, and when the food came out, things started to turn around. I had the always delicious Gorgonzola Shrimp for an appy, short rib ravioli, to die for it was so good, and my wife the Caesar salad and Onion soup. Food was spectacular!Glen, our server, came back apologizing for the delay, we coached him a bit that all they had to do was let us know what was happening earlier, bring us some bread and we would have understood. They provided a dessert on the house, an extra glass of vino, and totally made the night right!Well done Team at Bistecca, for making sure my wife and I will be back. No matter how delicious your food is, if the service isn't there, you will lose clients. Again Great comeback guys, thank you."
