"My friends took me to this elegant restaurant situated in Crown for my birthday. I enjoyed all the food that was ordered: Lamb rump, bolognese, gnocchi with mushrooms (this was a small side dish but perfectly cooked) and lastly tagliolini with snapper crab (being my favourite). Food was delicious but more on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. The service was very attentive that as soon as I finished my glass of wine, they asked if I would like another."

"Visited this place for my partners birthday dinner. Firstly. Not only was the staff clueless and very unorganised but the wait for them to come take our order should of been the first indication of a bad experience. Secondly We finally ordered our meals and drinks and the drinks came after 20-25 minutes and they brought the wrong drinks initially. Thirdly the food came eventually after we were all pretty unamused. T this point but the food arrived after about 45-50 minutes past ordering. The service again was shocking and when we complained at the end the lady at the front was uninterested and did not care in the slightest when we told her we were not happy with the service. We informed her of us leaving a bad review and also informed we wouldn’t be returning to this restaurant because of this all she said was “yeah sorry, have a nice night” and just laughed it off. Very poor would not recommend and we won’t be ever coming back. If there was an option to leave negative stars I would leave them as many as I could. Have not been this annoyed and infuriated by an experience before but this was my partners birthday dinner and it just felt like it ruined her night. Thanks again “groove train”.Ps. NO GROOVE to be felt Also not a single train was seen."

"Poor service, poor food. Waitress with glasses really has a poker face or she just got up on the wrong side of her bed. Beef and lamb are way too salty, so I had to drink a lot of lightly flavoured water. Well, they call it iced lemon tea. Ventilation was poor. My clothes stunk after BBQ dinner."

"Have been coming here for dinner and breakfast for the last year and a half. Service is always great and quick. Good atmosphere and location with plenty of parking also. <br/>Breakfast love how they use normal bread instead of the tough sour dough. <br/>Wed night Parma specials also great value as is the rest of the menu. Have brought friends here often and they always love it. Well done"

"First of all : greetings to you all. We eat healthy home made meals regularly. Also, we go to a variety of restaurants from time to time. We have not been to Food Star Frankston for a while : however, every time we went through the years either to have lunch or dinner we were welcomed with a warm smile from Tony and or his sister. The place is spacious and clean (toilets included) : an ideal venue for families : affordable prices a HUGE huge variety of well presented fresh salads, entrees, soups, sea food , meats, fish, pasta, pizza delicious desserts ice cream and coffee tea. The smogarsdof is a feast to the eyes! Prices are excellent , making eating out good food affordable and enjoyable. See you soon!"

"It’s a restaurant that serves roast meats. The seats are comfortable and the waiters are kind, so I enjoyed eating here. Most restaurants in Springvale list several dishes on the menu, but here, it’s more like you pick a base (rice, noodles, etc) and then pick roast meats to go with it. I thought this was super cool."
