"We stopped by for lunch yesterday (Feb. 5, 2017) and discovered that the restaurant was closed. A big sign on the door said that it is planning to reopen soon (perhaps for Carnaval later this month?). We have eaten there twice before during our years of visiting Mazatlan and found the seafood excellent. The service was also very good in a very pleasant courtyard. We were concerned, however, because of the lack of other customers. It definitely appeared to be a family operation open for service primarily during the day. We hope that it does reopen!"

"Every Wednesday the Sushi Bar offers two for one meals. I am not big on Sushi but the bar also has Mongolian Beef and Tepenyaki Beef or Chicken. Combined with Yakamishi Vegetable Rice it makes a great dinner. The service is excellent and if you want to bring your own wine there is no extra charge. Their wine list is excellent and El Cid Members get a discount"

"Hay mucha opción de Sushis en MZT. Esta es una buena. No se puede considerar barato pero tampoco de mala calidad. ElSable es fresco, el lugar pequeño pero bien distribuido y agradable. En fin, hay más, pero si a sushi con garantía van este es a la segura, y lleva rato manteniendo el nivel. Mi "pero" es que deberían tener más información en la Red, algún menú o similares pues hasta no llegar al restaurante no hay acceso a eso. Cuestión de servicio y modernidad."

"This is a fairly cool place on a balcony with views of the picturesque and the great Pacific. the place was something on the quiet side, so we had the advantage of four waiters trying to make sure we were happy. wow. that eating was extraordinary. good ceviche and garlic fried fish. to show them that we appreciate their efforts, we will undoubtedly go back four or five times while we visit mazatlan. Okay, I'm lying we're going back because of the amazing eating."
