"Have visited for brunch, lunch and afternoon drinks at different times and haven't had a bad experience yet. Food is lovely, staff are great and the setting it's fabulous. Great opportunity to do a walk to Cremorne Point, enjoy the view of the harbour then return to the Rowers for a well earned refreshment."

"Spectacularly bad. <br>

This place was always good and so they have always gotten busy. In fact the food was good enough to warrant a 35-40 minute wait. We've had a few mediocre meals there in the past when they've been busy but this was the final straw. And this is my first restaurant review. Ever. <br>

It wasn't to be this time. After a 45 minute wait out on the street for Pad Thai, chicken and Cashew nuts, steamed rice and satay skewer entree, the order was just left on the counter. Another member of the public waiting for their takeaway came out and asked me what my name was and indeed it was mine. <br>

After getting it home the chicken skewers tasted more like curry, and it's not a good sign when you get your torch out to check the state of the meat. It was dry, tepid and gristly. The sauce tasted more curry than satay. <br>

There were practically no noodles in the pad Thai. The whole thing was greasy and tasteless. Obviously the bottom of the pan. Again loads of gristle in the meat. <br>

The chicken and cashew nuts were tasteless and probably one of the most oiliest dishes I've ever seen. A tablespoon would yield 90% oil and 10% of whatever it was supposed to be. Again cartilage and gristle. <br>

The steamed rice was good. But then I would at least expect this to be a fairly difficult dish to screw up. <br>

After arguing with my better half over who isn't going to eat the leftovers, we decided to throw it out.<br>

Won't eat there again. Save your money! Go to oodles of noodles instead!"

"My favourite restaurant in all of Sydney. .. The Chef doesn't get enough credit for the food that he serves up. INCREDIBLE. Been going to this place for years & have never been dissapointed. The Havala, is to die for a must!"

"My husband and I went to breakfast and we were shocked by the unfriendly service. The staff seemed to be busy with serving customers so that we waited politely and patiently for 10 minutes and wait patiently until my husband approached one of the staff and told her that we were waiting for a table for breakfast. She told us that they take one of the free tables. When we went to the table, another staff asked what we did, and told us that the breakfast service was closed and they serve only. <br>
There were already two women who are already waiting for takeabway coffee, which was also completely ignored. I have never encountered an unfriendly place that you feel so invisible. We went away, knowing, we never come back."

"We had the 7 course with wine matching and had a great night. Nicely plated dishes, great service, 5 out of 7 dishes were fantastic, 2 (suckling pig and the cold spaghetti) I could've passed on with the pork being slightly over cooked and extremely I mean extremely salty and the cold spaghetti was taken out a tad too early and wasn't quite al dente and was slightly undercooked however, the Buitoni was cooked al dente and was amazing. Both desserts were really nice and again the service was great. The view and location was also a plus :)"

"I enjoyed a lovely lunch today at The Hunter with an antipasto board with scrummy cheeses, salt and pepper squid and the best sweet potato fries! The service was second to none. A very chilled place w a friendly vibe. Looking forward to returning!"
