"Superb from beginning to end. Crunchy aubergine slices with honey were exquisite, as were the garlic prawns with whitebait. Veal steak was huge and tasty and the fish rolls delightful. Desserts fantastic also, and cava and Rioja reasonably priced. Service was on the money fast but not too intrusive. If it wasn’t our last night in torre we’d definitely be back!"

"My sister and I decided to have a light lunch at this small beach bar. I could see a very impatient waiter heading our way much to my dismay. The sangria we ordered arrived swiftly and dropped on the table spilling a little onto the napkins. To be honest I thought Basil Fawlty had arrived. It was extremely windy and my drink blew over leaving quite a mess on the table. I cleaned it myself and the waiter made a comment about it being cold as it had spilt over me as well. Our toasted sandwich which was bland to say the least was also plonked down in front of us. I asked for ketchup and got mayo. Waited ages for the bill so decided to go up to the bar and pay it ourselves. A big thank you to the Spanish Basil Fawlty( being sarcastic) for making it a most unpleasant experience for us."
