"Recommended room. I ate with colleagues in this place a few days ago. Quality of food really great. Price in line with what we ate. Service quite precise and punctual. Only sins the problem with the light of our table that fortunately has been solved almost copernican with candles that perhaps have created a beautiful environment. I didn't taste the cruditè that they had so much advised me but I think I'll come back to do it as soon as possible."

"AMAZING. Honestly, the best meal we had in Rome. We came in late on the night of our arrival and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Small hole in the wall with primarily Italian families dining. If it looks busy, there is a bit more space in the back so definitely go in. Great prices, great food, can't go wrong with anything here"

"Eating here is excellent. we thought this restaurant would be average because it is close to the hotel, but in fact it is a great restaurant. excellent seafood and great pasta. the staff is friendly and helpful. Just note that the restaurant can be very busy and the staff can then also be very busy. highly recommended. make sure they book in advance."

"We were looking for a quaint yet classy restaurant during our stay in Rome and we had heard about Volee' and decided to give it a try and boy are we glad we did !! The food is superb , the chef's recommendation is spot on , the vine impeccably matched and the service attentive and awesome !! It is a little out of the way but WORTH the trip ! We were cordially greeted upon our arrival and given free Prosecco and munchies while we just enjoyed the outdoors before our meal !! The presentation of the food was fabulous and both the owner Francesco and Chef personally came to our table to insure our dinner was as we expected and may I add it was above our expectations , just fabulous ! When in Rome give it a try you wont be sorry !! Highly recommend !!!!"

"Visited the restaurant on Sunday 29th June. Service was extremely slow, then my juice didn’t arrive, the chips we ordered didn’t arrive with the meal either. Waiters just walked by when I was trying to catch their eye to let them know. To be fair the food we did have was nice enough. The bill came to 44 euros, my husband gave them 60 Euro’s and got a 10, 5 1 Euro in the change. After getting back to the car my husband asked if I’d run back over and buy him a bottle of juice before the drive. The restaurant has a bar at the back where you can buy juice and pay for sun beds. I handed over the 10euro note I had, only to be told he had put it in his machine and it didn’t work! I asked if he meant it was fake he said yes. Walked back to the car to explain to my husband we must have been given fake money somewhere for him to tell me he only came out with 60 Euro’s and the ten euro note had been given to him in his change from the restaurant at the other side (who use the same till as the back of the building). I went back over to let let them know the owner argued with me that we had given him 50 euros and he had given my husband 5 euros back which was most definitely not the case. After arguing with him for about 10 minutes he eventually swapped the 10 Euro fake note he gave me for a real one. They were clearly checking every note on their machine to make sure they were receiving legit cash so how they were able to give out fake cash? sounds to me that they have some sort of scam going on and giving out fake notes! Definitely avoid!"

"Very good food, for the rest we are not here! Apart from the fact that we waited almost an hour to have a little spaghetti and a grilled fish, in an almost empty restaurant we were brought a sea roast weighing more than one kilo when we asked for a part! Since the price is per pound, the size of the fish should be specified to avoid unpleasant surprises. To our astonishment we were told: Okay, but you're only eating this, and you don't help Mom to finish it!? You have definitely lost 2 customers! Too bad because the food is very good"
