"This is as much a pub as a restaurant and I would suggest if it is just a pint you fancy, pop in here. Good selection of drinks, even had our Drambuie, and although we did not sample the food we saw the portions were...very good and others were very happy with it. We WILL be back."

"I wanted a quick dinner so popped in and ordered grilled pork dumplings and stir fried pak Choi. Stunned to find they only accept cash, there should be a sign on the door clearly stating this. When I opened the packets, the dumplings were clearly BOILED not grilled, and the „pak Choi“ was not the dark green one that we know from the supermarket but white Chinese cabbage (hakusai) or just English white cabbage. I took it back to ask if they had given me the wrong order and she said the word pak Choi is the Chinese word for that white one.!!!! I took it, but won’t be going there again as I can’t be sure that what is advertised is what I will get. Menu looks good, but it’s not what you think!!"

"Visited there this Saturday. I had the Thai chicken with three spices.blew my taste by, the combination was the best I have experienced. Mum haddock in tempura batter, which she loved and it was light as it should be. Sister had the haddock without and said it was so fresh"

"Amazing traditional old-world pub with an open fire, chunky tables on chains and lots of brass. Such a perfect atmosphere. They have three menus including a vegetarian one with eight options, three of which are vegan including asparagus, chesnut and sun-blushed tomato strudel with sautéed potatoes and pesto, wild mushroom and cashew nut stroganoff with infused rice, tomato and red onion salad and chickpea, aubergine and spinach dhansak with scented basmati rice, mango chutney and poppadoms. The fact that it isn't a strict vegetarian restaurant will probably put some people off, but they are professional and knowledgeable about different diets. It provides a great option to dine out with non-vegetarian friends/family. None of the desserts are vegan but they are very friendly and helpful and I'm sure would put something together for you. They are happy for you to take outside birthday cakes in and they even present it on a slate with fruit for you. Excellent place in the middle of the countryside 15 minutes outside of Cambridge."
