"We had passed this place a few times during the hike in Split and it seemed more touristy than not (they try to get passersby in the door). On our last day it started to become quite cloudy while we were over and lunch, and we thought why not I was a little hesitant after seeing some of the reviews here and on Google, but we were both pleasantly surprised with the homemade pasta with beef we had ordered. The location is great, right next to the temple of Jupiter overall, that was a great meal!"

"We were initially and quickly compelled by an original menu that differed from the standard tourist fare available on the Riva. And indeed, the broccoli soup, duck (paté? and greek hoummos starters did not disappoint. The mains were fine as well a subtly spicy octopus/chick pea salad, grilled seabass and a funky goulash with homemade gnocchi (that the chef is very proud of as it is in nearly all of his recommended dishes . Friendly and attentive service of high professional standard that was not disrupted, despite a significant incident nearby that was upsetting to staff as friends were potentially harmed. A bit on the expensive side but worthwhile. Conclusion? Recommended."

"Nice atmostphere here. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was very delicious. Pizza 's were 'the best' after our girls, so a few times again we were just for the pizza."

"Maybe it a hit and miss kind of place, and I think I got the miss. My husbands steak was good but my tuna was over cooked and too salty. The staff were on interesting and provided something to muse over whilst we dined. Overpriced for what we got"

"Good portions and outstanding service. Waiter really talkative and warm. We had cheese platter, tenderloin steak with mushroom sauce, bruscetta with Gorgonzola and shrimps and, sea bass. Pretty cheap compared to most but the location is not so close to promenade which explains price). Menu was quite diverse which is also not so common. Definitely visiting again ."

"Very good food. Went in the next day too. I tried the fish fry and black risotto.My wife tried the Barley prawns and Bell pepper stuffed meat. Everything is fresh and you will feel it as you taste. You could ask for half portion if you feel you are not up for finishing it."
