"We have heard a lot about this Restaurant. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing dining experience. Staff not very friendly at all, did not even inquire as to how we enjoyed our meal. Food is definitely not really up to a standard for a fine dining restaurant. Entrees over priced and quite strange, I had the Squid, about 8 finely sliced pieces lost in a watery boring liquid with peanuts, don’t have it it’s not that good.I found the Eye Fillet Steak in a very strange presentation, it sat in a sort of a watery curry tasting source/ gravy, I enjoy a nicely cooked rare Steak, unfortunately mine was medium and quite impalatble. Sadly very disappointed and will not come back. Tony Woodard"

"We went here with first table and our experience was wonderful. the music and the mood of the place was really groovy. the bar-end was very friendly and made us feel at home. eating here is incredible! best burgers in town, they are delicious! we also tried an omelette with laughs and it was lovely. great place with many weekly events."

"My family and I love this restaurant. we ditched kwangchow for canton kitchen. they have the independent coffee machine that u can help so often, the dessert selection has a great variety and the huge bowl of sucking is a decent note! hot eating is quality, but the salat and the sushi bar is my favorite. the restaurant is small, but past other tables is spacious. it has a domestic mood, so there is no pressure to dress all up to the nine. they have made my twins with toys available to play with when they were finished eating, which felt relaxed and in less hurry to cut my dinner short and take them home. the personal is pleasant and the owner tries to remember their customers. 5 stars of me and me"

"Amazing food and location. I had the grilled beef salad and it’s easily one of the best versions of this dish I’ve ever eaten. The portion size was perfect and it had exactly the right amount of heat from the chilli. We also had fish and chips (gurnard) and braised lamb taco and half a dozen which I was told were delicious. We finished it off with tiramisu and crème brûlée which were both superb. The tiramisu was huge, definitely enough for two and not overly heavy, the brûlée had the perfect crack lol. The location, the staff and the restaurant are an amazing combination and I cannot recommended it enough. And so much parking which is a huge plus for any restaurant in Tauranga. We will definitely eat here again."

"O my gosh..There are no Words to describe the amazing flavours of the dishes we had. Everything was fresh and presented with care. But above an beyond were the staff. So friendly and helpful as it was our 1st time there with no clue what we where doing. Sadly they don't deliver to the UK but my folks will be back. Honestly can't rate it enough...Honey BBQ pork a must try!!!"

"Great service and lovely food with just one issue that let the experience down for a member at our table. The vegetable sides of broccoli and brussel sprouts were great way to make vegetables delicious! Duck taco, pork belly taco and fried chicken also really good. I was happy with the size of the meals compared to prices and sizes at other Mexican places. Would’ve been 5 stars except a friend ordered the potato chickpea masa taco because it had just 1 chilli beside it on the menu and it was so so spicy it was inedible by anyone at our table. The fried chicken has 3 chillies next to it and everyone could eat it with no problem. So there is something amiss with the seasoning in the vegetarian option which is a shame and hopefully it can be remedied to more accurately reflect the menu."

"Cute little place this one, ordered the chicken katsu on rice. Price was, not too bad but for a simple katsu perhaps a little expensive. Wait time was longer than average but I could see the chicken was battered specifically for my order and it doesn 't get fresher than that! Portion size for chicken thigh was excellent although a little heavy on the rice and as a result despite it tasting great, sat like a brick in my stomach for a few hours. Batter was soggy and this was down to over saturating it with yum yum sauce so if you like crisp panko ask for sauce as a side. Overall I was happy with the meal and would definitely consider trying their ramen to see if they can compete with Taurangas infamous 'chidori '! Thank you for the meal"
