"We stumbled upon this charming, small restaurant on our way back from Fondamente Nove. (Head down a small alleyway, not the main thoroughfare) It has a small outside enclosed terrace which was, sadly, too chilly at this time of year. Had a delicious lunch of the freshest scampi and squid, with a lovely green salad of the freshest variety of leaves (I know, but a good salad is a rarity in Venice). A really good half bottle of wine as they don't sell by the glass, and friendly service. We headed back on our last night but forgot to check opening hours (closed Wednesdays). Greatly disappointed but plan to return on my next trip. They have an accomplished cook in their kitchen, unlike so many Venetian restaurants."

"Delicious!!! Off the beaten path but well worth it. Food was fantastic, spritz delicious, service quick and friendly! Best meal we have had so far on our trip. Highly recommend trying this place out, we plan to be back on our way back through Venice."
