"Found this little restaurant while wandering around Cologne. Straight away we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel welcome and at home despite us being English speaking. The ambience was lovely here with lots of pictures and masks on the wall but overshadowing this was the warm welcome by (I presume) the family that runs this business. The food was lovely (pizza and calamari) and the price fair. We are in Cologne for a few more nights so might even go back. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and relaxation and atmosphere is as important as the food."

"Beim Vittorio Perino gibts eines der Besten Eis in Köln. Die Pizza ist überragend. Salate und Pasta ebenfalls. Wechselnde Wochen/Tageskarte. Tolles Personal! Nur Durchschnitt: das Frühstücksangebot, da gibt es sicher bessere!"

"Köln Ostheim ist kein Ort wie jeder andere. Das Restaurant ist ein angenehmer Ort mit guter Küche. Kein Schnäppchen allerdings dass Geld wert. Sehr freundlich und zu empfehlen. Speisekarte ist gut sortiert, Tagesangebote sind vorhanden. Tip wäre die Fischsuppe. Bitte mit dem Service sprechen und Wünsche ansprechen. Hier gibt es einen Weinkühler fürs Glas, warum nicht!"

"Our dinner started with a nice drink outside, but then it went all the way down as the evening continued. Starters were good, but my "medium-rare" T-bone steak was a catastrophy. It was well done and dry as leather, and I don't believe it was anywhere near the 600g in the menu. People at the next table had similar issues. I was offered a rebate on the steak, which turned out to be a ridiculous 10%... The others at our table had nice steaks, though also smaller than expected.There is a very nice winelist, but it turned out that none of my four (normal price) choices was available. We went with the waiter's recommendation, which was really good for the red wine. The white wine was OK as such, but served way too warm. As I pointed this out and asked for our second bottle to be served cooler, they just mixed it with the warm wine in the same glass... A third bottle was opened and charged without asking us.All this could have been bearable if the waiter hadn't displayed such an unprofessional attitude and hadn't been so rude with a completely unacceptable tone towards customers. With this kind of "service" and skills to grill steaks, this otherwise nice place will not succeed."

"Leckeres, frisches Kölsch, freundliche Bedienung und gutes Essen. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich genug, dass jeder etwas für sich finden sollte. Von kölschen Klassikern, über Steaks bis zu Salaten und einigen Schnitzel-Varianten ist alles dabei und schmeckt sehr gut."
