"So when my family is in the mood for a little Italiano we drive to Newport News to come here. We have been going to the restaurant since it was owned by the original owners. The new owners definitely have not disappointed all the long time customers when it comes to food, service, and great wine pairings. There is a small back room off to the left if you desire to have a small gathering with friends and family. I believe it holds about 15 to 20 people comfortably. Some of my favorite dishes there are polio el artillano and there's a dish that has the pork chops with them Marsala sauce. To date I have not had an appetizer here that I did not thoroughly enjoy. If you are ever on the peninsula or you are desiring for great dining with large portions this is the place to go to get the most for your money. They also offer great listings of wines if you desire to pair with your meal. This time I tried one of the many Merlot's they have available and I found one that was not too dry and a little sweet which I enjoyed."
