"Very disappointed, table booked for 8.15, didn't eat until 9.40, waiting staff didn't apologise until just before food came out. The roast organic pork with crispy salt and pepper crackling was a pork chop with white rubbery rind, no crackling in site! My sausages and mash and the curried Kiev were nice but to be honest by the time the food came out, we were ready to leave and were starving. I have written an email to the Pickled Ploughman but sadly have not had a response. At the time of booking i said that it was for a birthday, my son travelled from London with his girlfriend for this meal, it was a great let down, we decided on this venue as it was recommended by friends."
