"We love going to weds trivia as often as we can ! As a working couple , we often have dinner here so we can get to the club in time for the start of Mike Van Ackers excellent quiz. We order on or before 6.30 every time we come and wait until 7.45 pm before our buzzer alerts us to fetch our dinner from the servery! This happens every week religiously ! Can it really take anHour and 15 mins to produce fried food ??! The food is cheap , and so it should be! it's mostly overcooked, thrown together , and occasionally looks like it has been run over by a golf buggy before we get it ! We've tried the "specials" but they are so "special" we gave up , as they are variously Finished or look like they have been thrown on the plate from a great distance ! We return time and again to " something and chips" as we feel that even this kitchen can't ruin fried food .. shame we have to wait so long !"

"Consistently disappointed with both the service and food here. Just today it took four trips back to the counter for them to get our order right, which was only a large chips with gravy. After all that the box of chips was only a third...full. 35 minute wait you've got to be kidding me."

"We went here for a family dinner on a Sunday night. 6 adults, 1 child. We've often eaten here before and the food has been great and fantastic service. The only customers in the restaurant aside from us was a table of 4. After ordering the first meal arrived 1 hour later. The last meal arrived 1 hour and 50 minutes later!!! The young waitress had delivered a complimentary plate of the deep fried prawn crisps and half a dozen Mini spring rolls and apologised for the delay in the food arriving. During that time there was loud arguing between a man and woman in the kitchen. It was very uncomfortable. We had arrived for an early dinner as the adult children all had early starts for work the next day. Almost 3 hours later we left. Two meals weren't eaten and the other meals were only partially eaten because the food wasn't that great. Upon leaving the manager asked if we had enjoyed our meal. We were honest and said no, commenting on the ridiculous amount of time it had taken to arrive. He stated they had been busy with take aways. That's not good enough! With only 10 people in your restaurant there is no reason for the food to be bought to our table, certainly not staggered over almost two hours! He told us he hoped they could perform better next time. There won't be a next time. The slowness of food arriving and the loud arguing coming from the kitchen. Most unprofessional. The food wasn't great. The only saving grace was the lovely young waitress, she was great. I felt sorry for her having to work in that environment. My advice, don't bother. If the restaurant had been packed you would expect a delay but 10 customers?? Ridiculous!"

"Was looking for a quick dinner before the movies. Staff greeted and seated us in friendly manner. Had a variety of different cold & hot dishes - sushi, spring rolls, crumbed prawns, chicken yakatori , calamari and octopus - very tasty - small servings but were perfect for a light dinner - good value."
