"The three of us have eaten at many Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area, Denver, Atlanta, Washington DC. Based on our one visit, this place was good enough that I would come back and try some other dishes. The restaurant was nicely furnished and quiet even though the restaurant is of medium size and was fairly full with patrons. The wait staff was pleasant and prompt. All the food that we had was aesthetically presented and tasted good. The cold tofu starter was nicely prepared and seasoned.. The squid salad was excellent with a nice twist using cilantro as an ingredient. I also had the grilled mackerel which was prepared with crisp skin, but not burnt. It was a large portion, particularly considering the price. The tempura udon was excellent. The soup base was as good as I have had and the udon was cooked just the right amount. There was a lot of tempura for the price with 2 shrimp and 3 vegetables. The chicken teriyaki was better than average and again, a good portion for the price. I cannot comment on the sushi since we did not have any."

"We were served by a nice waiter named martin, who was so friendly and went beyond and beyond for the child in our party and organized singing etc. for our birthday party. our chef was ritchie, we think he's new in her team, but he has a fantastic work with us. the price can be slightly on the higher side, depending on the choice of the protein, but there is something for each wallet. overall it was a good night out."
