"I visited the place yesterday with my friends. It was the first time I had sushi in my life and I took help from the waitress for suggestions. She suggested us Torched Tuna and a few other dishes (sorry, I don't remember the names) from the menu which included both sushis and tempuras. All the dishes were excellent and I don't have words to express how good it was especially the Torched Tuna. I would strongly recommend the place to anyone who is looking for some Japanese food. I wish I got a table on the open terrace that overlooks the marina and the Piers but the restaurant was a bit busy and the tables were occupied. The service was excellent too with very friendly staff. I look forward to visiting the place very soon. The only thing I regret is that I didn't visit the place before yesterday. Thanks Miki's Sesame Sushi for making my day."

"My daughter phoned me and said she wanted to take me out of the Whistlin' Waffle, it was my first time. I had savory and she had a sweet build your own. We will be going back, especially for the waffle fries, delicious. As it is in a high ceiling room it is noisy and on a hot day there doesn't seem to be a lot of air flow, our server was wonderfully friendly and did not hover."

"Just make sure you know what you are ordering when you are. I was looking for a quick take out. I selected Sashimi and was looking for a bulk up item. Like 6 pieces of special roll or California roll or avocado roll. She suggested Spicy Tuna as it’s popular she said. Well I don’t who with! All I can say is it’s not to my taste. Toooooo spicy! Maybe after a beer or two it might be better. But I don’t think so. Service was good and it was ready quick."
