"4.5 Stars We loved this place! What a nice restaurant. They have restored it and decorated beautifully. The food was delicious! The soup of the day was Lobster Bisque!!! and it was the best I ever had. Wonderful! We even ordered a few extra to go home. The Hawaiian burger was excellent: delicious juicy. Nice Teriyaki. Good, nice bungalow. But the star was the big plate of grilled ham! Wow! How creative! The Prime Rib Dip was so incredibly delicate. Like butter! The jus had body and was thick, closer to fond de veau than broth. Nice to dive! The staff was nice. The surroundings were festive and relaxing. We will definitely come back. The reason 4.5 instead of 5?: Fried Calamari was beautiful, but a skosh too wide. It was mild and overwhelmed the otherwise very beautiful squid. The side salad was a generous size, but the salad was old, rough and limp. Why do you let this detail go? Why are you making the salad a dump? If the same attention was given to the salad as to the rest of the menu, this would be a destination restaurant. I know the times are hard and the economy costs squeezing, but their price is too high. You need to lower them at least 20%. Smaller margins, but it would bring more customers. I'd eat there a lot, but I can't afford it like that? ll have to be in a while. Restaurants that want to survive and do a rollicking good business should strive for a better affordability that will drive their regular business forward."

"Disgusting!! The Rainbow roll had old Tuna and super fatty Salmon on it, the tuna was room temperature and the salmon cold on it. Super weird and tasted funky 3 of us had one bite and we were disgusted. They blobbed a heaping teaspoon of mayo on top of the volcano roll and some of the pieces only had avocado in them SERIOUSLY Disgusting!!"

"#1 Sushi in Greater Sacramento Area. I guess my contribution will be a little biased as my wife is one of the waiters and has the pleasure of eating there many times. However, her food is delicious and beats all Sacramento Sushi I've ever had (yes, it is a drive. I had numerous bad experiences in Sacramento with Mikuni 's and Taro 's(payment for the environment and small portions, Hitome, Arigato(bath quality for 50% off, Kumon(Decent, Sushi Ya(Above average Wat and El Camino most do not know about it, and the Sushi Cafe 's (Above average my local Favorite). As with all sushi it seems quite expensive, but Mama's sushi has an excellent lunch menu. You have a wide selection of sushi, tempura, teriyaki, nigiri, gyoza, etc. My favorite role is the 'Sake Bomb'. Speaking of Sake, they have a few different flavors of it and a range of Japanese beer. The facility is medium-sized, with 2 flat-screen TVs usually on sports, a beautiful sushi bar for drinking with the cook 's, and ample parking. Most meals come with Japanese salad and Miso soup. Not much else I can say except I could honestly not believe that the best sushi I had in Sacramento was in Galt."

"Honestly, a mediocre burger fries! Love the idea, but this is a lot extra crispy over the top cheese and your burger has very little fries don't have a certain taste, they seem like the freezer isle extra crispy seasoned. Service was great"
