"The boss/ovner (david zambrano) is one of the original creators of the baja taco genre (yes, in baja california, mexiko, the land of surfers and fresh fish tacos that have become the shave of the demanding of the world) and it shows! its kitchen is. simple, but so rich and tasty because of its creepy feeling of flavor. Also noteworthy are the incredible attention to details such as a countless salsas and roasted paprika made fresh every day and directed to perfection. I come to his cozy taqueria every time I am in guadalajara for the business. eating speaks for itself and it is unique for these industries of happy fish restaurants in guadalajara. a taste of the chef zambrano mastery of flavor, and they will know why."

"We’re visiting here from California and found this restaurant and went for dinner. It was a very unique experience with ingredients we wouldn’t expect to shine like they did. I ordered the Barbacoa flavored Jamaica gordita and it was my favorite! We also ordered gorditas made with rajas, asada and queso con cebolla. All really good. We also had our pozole de zetas (mushroom pozole) and enfrijoladas. They had a salsa made with chile de arbol and Jamaica which had a really good flavor as well. They owner was very friendly and she made us some of that salsa to order. We definitely recommend this awesome vegan option in Guadalajara."

"Guadalajara has long been hurting for a Vietnamese restaurant. Pho Chef delivers. While the menu is not extremely extensive, they offer the essentials: beef, chicken and shrimp pho, bun, banh mi, fresh and fried spring rolls, iced coffee. The ingredients are authentic, fresh and of good quality, and the preparation definitely satisfies one's craving.Service was good when I visited. The interior is bright and was clean and orderly. You have tables and booths to choose from. Menu is in Spanish, English and Vietnamese. Pricing is reasonable (at current exchange rates, the most expensive thing on the menu is less than $7 US).Vietnamese is one of my favorite cuisines. While I've had excellent Vietnamese food in other countries, Mexico is lacking in this department. After years in Guadalajara, Pho Chef finally and easily gets the job done. I left happy and would gladly return."

"This place did not disappoint for speed. Drinks and food in under 3 minutes. The food was great and very filling, some of the best Carne en su jugo I have ever had. Atmosphere is nice and pleasant, with nice bathrooms also."

"Il Diavolo has speedy, friendly service and delicious food. My business associate and I walked here from our hotel and sat on the porch. The servers were terrific. The wine list was good and not overpriced. I recommend a wine from Baja California. There are...several good ones on the menu. The calamari appetizer was just right. The pizza was perfect. It was light and thin, but full of flavor. We also tried a tortellini dish, but I can't remember the exact name. It was delicious."
