"We were in the area of Little Tokyo and were craving for Japanese food and saw Oishinbo. We ordered the Ebi Tempura, which had large prawns, chahan, which was full of flavor and had a large serving, and a chicken teriyaki donburi which was good but the meat was a bit tough. The downside of the place is that it has very bad ventilation(the aircon was nit working well) and that the area was a bit crowded"

"Nanbantei has maintained it's food quality as befits an international chain. We started with a good Kani Salad. Then came our drinks - Japanese Mojito and Hibiscus Mojito. The former is sochu based with calamansi juice and Sprite. The latter is Bacardi rum based with Hibiscus syrup and soda water. Pretty good cocktails. We had Ebi Tempura, Beef Yakiniku, Chicken Momo and Corn on the Cob skewers. Each of the dishes were good with beef Yakiniku as to standout."

"I ordered in this restaurant of honestbee delivery service. it was pretty fast. concerning eating, I ordered the go solo gyudon rice, icy and coffee gelly. I love her gyudon. the bark was chewing and the sauce is in order. it tasted like the gyudon of karate kid. what the coffee jelly, it was a false advertising because I got a coffee rtiramisu instead. I don't think this is another version of coffee jelly. but in give them, as I really satisfied with their gyudon and their portion size was great enough to fill my very hungry bauch."

"The Wine Club is the fourth stop of our Makati Food Crawl.  What better way to wash down all the food than by a glass of red. I've never heard of Wine Club till now.  Good thing,  Mike gave us a brief background on how The Wine Club came to be.  This is a family run business and they are a decade old.  They are importers and distributors of California Wine.  The bistro  concept started two years ago,  patrons can buy the wine at retail price,  drink a glass or two and pair it with some of their savory dishes Grub. Mike mentioned that the pizza they offer is hands down the best paired with red.  Let's find out,  shall we? | Meatlovers (Php 500).  Thin crust pizza topped with homemade Italian sausage.  This is mediocre as there is not enough meat to merit the name and the price tag | Four Cheese Pizza (Php 490).  A beautiful concoction of blue cheese,  mozza,  parmesan and goat cheese.  Cheese is best paired with red,  personal preference.  I much on ungodly amounts of goat cheese and a drink countless glasses of red at home.  This pizza is the shiz!  The thin x chewy crust topped with generous amounts of cheese is love at first bite.  I Bottle of Red. Rosso di ca'momi hails from Napa Valley.  The wine was born out of the barrel,  thanks to a couple Italians who came to California and they decided to ferment some grapes.  This a freestyle wine comprised of Cabernet Sauvignion,  Zinfandel,  Merlot and Petite Sirah.  This is the first time I've tried California wine (my usual pick is Chile,  Romania and Aussie) and i was impressed.  A wonderful concoction of fruity with subtle hints of spice.  I loved every sip! My rating is just for the wine.  Four stars,  baby! "

"To use up my remaining gift certificates, I finally decided and took the time to visit the Cheese Steak Shop on Amorsolo Street. They used to be in an accessible location on Pasay Road but were transferred to Amorsolo. Right before the Skyway turnoff. Parking is in the back. In other words, sasadyain mo talaga bago ka makakain. Unless you live in the area. Tried their classic cheese steak with a side of fries. The bread was crispy enough to soak up the juices from the beef. It is generously topped with cheese and jalapenos. Ordered the largest size and shared it with parents. They liked it very much. The only downside is how expensive their sandwiches are. They offer cheaper beef and cheese rice dishes for budget conscious office workers in the area. The dining area is spacious and has a lot to see (records, board games, etc). Recommended, but warned of any parking difficulties. If you happen to catch her on her various food truck excursions, give it a try if the budget allows."
