"Super friendly staff, excellent sushi! The sashimi is soooo fresh, the food is beautifully arranged as well. Party platters are huge, and a really good value. The store hours are incredible!!! With a weekday opening time of 9:30am, you'd be hard pressed to get restaurant quality sushi elsewhere. No line ups, and never closed in the midddle of the day for 3 hour lunch breaks (typical of sushi restaurants). I have had nothing but the best service and the freshest sushi here at Seto. Have yet to dine in at this restaurant but the eating area is always clean and inviting. They even have a bento box happy hour! My new go-to for on-the-go sushi in Nanaimo :D"

"I'm just going to be blunt. I can't stand to wait in line and then wait for my food ONE MORE TIME at this restaurant. Every time I've visited this establishment in recent months, I've had to wait and wait and wait. I've waited a half hour for an order that consisted of two wraps. I've waited in line for 10 minutes during a slow period when there were only 4 customers in the restaurant, just to get my order placed. The last (and I mean last) time that I was in this restaurant, I even noticed that there was a sign on the counter telling customers to expect to wait. These are wraps and pre-made salads, etc, folks! Unacceptable. The owners of this store clearly lack a customer service oriented attitude. That's fine, they don't need me as a customer anymore. It's too bad. I used to really like this restaurant."

"Food is pretty good, but when a waiter simultaneously spilled two drinks on two guys laps, the manager only offered to comp the drinks. Definitely not an appropriate response to such a major mistake, but after a great deal of debate with the manager, the two guys got their meals comped. Should have just started with that. Staff are usually friendly, and the atmosphere is casual. Great place for an expensive pub-style meal and an equally expensive drink, or to watch the game, they just need to brush up on the finer points of hospitality. Most of the staff and managers are young students, or just young in general, so lack of hospitality (and life) experience is definitely understandable. Great place to go to support working students."

"I recently ordered a full-beef sheet box. The California reels were not good and I left them [thinking fresh] the tempura was well overcooked and hard-crusted and the broccoli inside was clear old i. I left it. The rice with the beef and the vegetables up and the tiny salad you get were the only edible things. Not great, but edible. Will not return. The lady is friendly."

"Went here for a quick lunch it was very busy. Nice selection of takeout sushi already prepared. We ordered the spicy crunchy roll and a sushi bento box. Food was prepared quickly and was prepared well. Will be back again."

"Our favourite take out sushi place. Prices have gone up in the last few years but that's true everywhere. We've ordered pretty much everything on the menu over the course of several years and I haven't had a bad meal yet."
