"Pros: The flavors of the tocino were good and the eggs were good too. Cons: The rice was not cooked correctly at all. It was really mushy with some hard rice bits. (Like someone cooked it for 30 seconds- 1 minute then decided to serve to me. Meat portion way too small for the amount paid. I really wish I could recommend this place being a filipino myself, but I don't think its worth trying. with the rice being basically inedible..."

"Was super surprised at how good the sushi was. I'm picky about sushi so I wouldn't order nigiri at any random place, but I did get the Alaskan roll and I definitely felt like getting more. I'm usually not one for rolls, but this one is simple and yummy. Rice was great (which is even more important than the fish) and the fish tasted good for a roll. Was provided with wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. The ginger was really sweet, but nice. Overall, v satisfying snack for me whilst we explored downtown. Female staff at counter was friendly. The reviews on Google aren't the best, but there were unsurprisingly lots of customers that I had to wait a bit to get my food. I didn't notice anyone get nigiri nor sashimi, which is smart. Everyone got various rolls and the poke bento. Responding to the other low star reviews, I feel it should be obvious that you should go to a dedicated sushi restaurant to get nigiri or sashimi as a general/common sense rule. 4 stars because the price isn't the most affordable."

"I have been coming back here for a good minute. This place has become our favorite spot to go to for some late night sushi or dinner. They have surprisingly good sushi for good prices. I personally only eat baked sushi, but I enjoy the baked sushi that they have. Not sure about the other sushi options they provide. The workers are always friendly so the service is good. They love to push (in a nice way) that you get a small discount if you pay in cash to save money. The location itself is pretty small so it can feel pretty cramped if theres a lot of people waiting inside, and the wait can get pretty long sometimes, so we usually call in to order ahead to save some time. Aside from that, this is a good spot to go to."

"First an honest story on why I'm writing a review. I walk downtown 3 or 4 times a week to get my daily 5 mile walk in. One late afternoon early evening I was walking downtown and I needed to go to the restroom. COVID and the homeless situation downtown has changed everything when it comes to businesses allowing people use their restrooms. I'd asked the 7 11 up the street and they lied and said their restrooms were out of order. (Everybody says that.)It was pretty early in the evening, not yet busy dinner time and the owner and an employee were sitting out front at their outside dining tables. I asked if I could use the restroom and he said sure, and nodded his head towards the inside. I'm not writing this to invite everyone to use their restroom, ha, I'm writing it to let everybody know they are the nicest people downtown. They didn't have to say yes.I'll come here for dinner or a late night snack in the coming days but in the mean time I will let other people's raving reviews speak for themself and come back and write another review after trying their food."

"We have tried their super tacos (beef, chicken and shrimp) and love it. Generous amount of avocado and tasty meat. My son loves the shrimp taco and I love the beef taco as a healthy low calorie option. Burrito and fajita plate was really good too. We sometimes walk and dine in or it is a quick pickup for weekdays after work."
