"Rightly or wrongly going to categorise this as a mom and pop restaurant. My very favourite type of eaterie. A bright and airy space, despite it being below street level, is both warm and welcoming and the owners and staff were both friendly and forgiving of my rubbish attempts at Italian. Being typically English I had a secondi as a starter and a primi as a main but this didn’t phase or upset the waitress or chef. The food is exceptional, fresh, hot, tasty, brilliant. Look at the menu and book a table here. I can highly recommend it and have already booked to return this Friday!"

"Tagged along my daughter treat for her mother on mother's day. the greeting and friendliness of the staff was genuine and special. I chose special menu from Mother's Day, which was excellent value well presented and delicious. started with portobello medium sea, which is a large mushroom with roasted vegetables with a round goat cheese. pork medaillen in marsala sauce the meat content was extremely generous and it was served with a trio sweet. the Amerretti cake for the conclusion was from this world. everyone on the party enjoyed their choices with pizza and lasagna and various appetizers and desserts. it's worth a try. we will certainly re beats all these “chain” restaurants they will find in the city."
