"I've been coming to Coco for years-first with other poor students now with my own (poor) family.Pizzas are very good,the chorizo or prawn saganaki or calzone are the best of breed.Prices are almost the same as years for a pizza! This is cheaper than those gloopy things that are delivered and cheaper than the downmarket huts that think they serve pizza.Whilst pizza express or ask or zilli are all good they are more costly and anyway we like the waitresses in Coco and they are good with my kids.Never had a bad meal just the odd slow one and have received excellent service more often than not.The cappo is still the best in Oxford.The loos are a bit posher now but it has the same style and chilled ambience of old.The waffles and banoffee pie are definitely worth having as is garlic bread with zsatsiki.Funny how everyone mentions the naked man in the bath but what about the gorgeous topless woman on the bar?"

"Environment: Food: The aglio olio tastes good but it has only vegetarian option. The carbonara tasted extremely ordinary and could have been better. The coffee tastes like instant coffee. Price: cheap, especially its lunch menu."

"La Cucina's lunch special has to be the best deal in Oxford. Your choice from a selection of pizzas, pastas, a risotto or a soup with a side salad and a glass of wine for £8. The food incredible (we had the La Cucina risotto and the Quattro Formaggi both were excellent) and the service was friendly, personalised and lovely. A fantastic lunch all around. We are looking forward to returning for the North Italy Five Course Feast."

"Booked theatre on Good Friday and, thinking it would be quiet, did not book a table and found most restaurants full. Zizzi found me a table and by the time I had worked out the speedy booking from bar Bose, lovely waiter had taken my...order. Services was more than acceptable but the choice of cannelloni stuffed with crab and ricotta was not. I needed a sharp knife to cut through the cannelloni which was burning hot. Whilst waiting to be able to put it in my mouth I more or less are the mixed leaf salad with Caesar dressing which I enjoyed. Back to the main item and either the pasta had not been cooked or it was over cooked but it was like chewing plastic and the stuffing was coarse and virtually tasteless. Not having eaten and curtain up time approaching, I ate three quarters of it but did point it out to the waitress my thoughts on the pasta and suggested she try what I had left. She didn’t but did say you saw what I meant!! Sorry guys but not acceptable and not cheap …."
