"Told of this place by tour guide, also told to get there for opening if we hadn't booked as it fills up fast. Greeted by wonderful staff who had no problem conversing in English. Went for the 3 course meal and had no problem finding dishes to sample. Was amazed at the range of flavors, went for fois Grois, Red Mullet then citrus desert which was my highlight. Great atmosphere and not too crowded or loud. Not one for foodie pics but had to take some to remember. Thank you."

"I stayed three nights in the adjacent hotel pure helpde and ate twice in the live manger. the food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. although I had the impression that the waiter was wearing straws to see who would have to wait. on the American who did not speak French, was my waiter, whose English was only little better than my non-existent French. I recommend legarde manger definitiw to dinner. I had breakfast there too. many carbs, but protein options were extremely limited. I didn't go back to breakfast. in her defense I had a very difficult time to find a place close to my hotel, which was open early and had the breakfast option that contained protein."

"Wanted something quick to eat for dinner and happened upon this place as we were walking near the cathedral. Ordered our pizza and within about 15 minutes it was ready. Pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients. Seating only for 8 outside, but they deliver and...take out."
