"Almost hidden in the corner of the square, by the abbey, is a little gem of a restaurant. The day was sunny, but so gusty that the waiter emerged backwards and crouching from inside, cradling our salads to prevent them blowing into the beautiful old tree in whose shade we sat. Successfully delivered, they were fresh, well-dressed and plentiful. The wine was good, too, and both very well priced. It’s a relatively new and small-scale operation, we learnt, so arrive early and you’ll be well looked after. It’s worth going inside to see the startling living wall by the bar."

"Une cuisine simple, une carte réduite, mais une assiette correcte, c'est ce qui ressort de notre visite. Un endroit convivial instauré par le patron. Ce n'est pas la meilleure adresse en terme culinaire mais c'est un lieu qui a le mérité d'être agréable et on y mange très correctement. Soyez attentif à ce qui peut se lire au dessus de vos têtes ( déco originale)"
