"This is the perfect place to go for lunch or just grab a coffee. They have a range of great local beers and wines on tap. The coffee is really, really good. Food is delicious - they have cartems doughnuts, salads, sandwiches and a bunch of other great pastries. It's just a really tasteful, classy place to sit, read, chat with a modern and relaxing decor. Floor to ceiling windows give a nice view of the UBC campus, and it's really close to the university bookstore."

"I would not recommend this restaurant to people who are being conscientious of COVID-19 guidelines. They did not check our vaccine cards or anybody else that was seated after us. Extremely shady and endangering patrons. The food was fantastic though."

"I was really excited to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. We got the margherita (with added roasted garlic purée and whipped potatoes) and the diavola. Both were good, but the diavola was our favourite. The texture of the pepperoni was great! I wasn’t a huge fan of the whipped potatoes I added to my margherita, but the roasted garlic was absolutely divine and I’d recommend adding it to every pizza on their menu. We ordered in and the pizzas came with reheating instructions. We popped them in the oven and they came out perfect. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!"

"You definitely come here for the food, not the service. The restaurant is quaint. Very popular with a more seasoned crowd. The food is delicious, but the service: we waited at the door with the hostess's back towards us for 10 mins, she was very brash when she did seat us finally, we weren't given drink menus, we had to grab a random server to order because no-one attended to us, we asked for 1 coffee refill three times, they screwed up the bill and then it took ages to pay. From working in the service industry, it was clear to me that their management needs to train staff better or just hire staff that aren't students maybe? They couldn't give a fiddler's f*ck about the guest's experience... and we were expecting a nice French restaurant. But the food is amazing!"
