"THE best place to get ice cream in Blackpool by a country mile. The flavours of Ice Cream (Bonds of Elswick are mouth watering, the soft scoop ice cream is also very tasty...the portions are generous, the price is right and it is always served...with a smile. My walk home from school along the prom is going to be a lot bleaker when the season stops ...but it is probably just as well for my waistline! I hope to try (and share the 5 scoop indulgence before the shop closes for winter...and I will be counting down until it re opens next spring. Mi Kandy knocks Notriannis out of the park im afraid ;"

"Although somewhat old looking the decor was fresh the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was good. I was disappointed that they were from the godfather I wanted to be my starter, but except that it was a good meal. My friends all had an assignment I had with Gammon. It was a good end, which was a very wet day in Blackpool, so thanks for the staff"

"Usually come here once a month when visiting family.. normally this place is my favourite place for tea scones. Today I decided to get a tuna Mayo barm, the tuna was cheap and extremely fishy.. I asked for more Mayo, the older lady behind the counter gave me one sachet like it was gold dust. I also asked for more napkins as she gave me ONE thin napkin to start with, she didn’t seem happy about this! Todays a Monday and the older later behind the counter I’ve not seen before but please let her know a smile wouldnt go a miss. On Saturday there was 2 different lady’s one with red hair and another older one, they was both present but this one is abit moody. Scones clotted cream is definitely recommend though."

"Visited twice in 3 days and was great both times. Had coffee and cake the first time and lunch the second. On both occasions, food and service was really good. Everything is fresh and tasty. Best, frothy cappuccino. Highly recommended."

"Came early afternoon 9/3/2022 to get out of the weather and eat a bite and get warm. decided to visit as I was not yet in a while and many places on the promenade are still closed because of the season. Ordering regular cod and chips, curry and a soft drink. It was absolutely wonderful. Cooked to perfection! Beautiful crisp dough and the fish was nice and flocky inside and what a big piece of fish it was! Peas were right. No granular texture as you sometimes get. It was so nice to smile at all the staff! The girls who all sit down were so bubbly and the two chefs were busy doing their work with big smiles on their faces. It is so rare to see how people enjoy their jobs these days, so it was really refreshing. You are a credit for you as a company. Will be back very soon."

"I visit this restaurant everytime I stay at a nearby caravan park and have done so for the last 10 years, It has been a family tradition to book the Sunday carvery to end our holiday. To say we were dissapointed is an understatement. The meat on the carvery was as good as always, but unfortunately the rest of the meal was not cooked very well. The vegetables were like leftovers. Something has drastically changed in the running of this establishment, Has the chef relocated.....?? I would not reccommend eating there."
