"This seems to be the place to have toast and coffee for breakfast, as it is always busy first thing. It is at the top of the Avenida so there is plenty going on. Very reasonably priced for a couple of tosta mixtas (ham and cheese toasted sandwich) and a beer and a glass of wine just 7.70. Lots of cakes to choose from if you have a very sweet tooth!"

"Yesterday along with a group of friends we stumbled across this hidden gem in Guimaraes. What a find! We made two extended visits in one day. A small family run business that serve the most wonderful food, They could not do enough to make our visit memorable and very enjoyable. In the end we had to leave with heavy hearts. Guimaraes is a beautiful place and worth a visit on any trip to Northern Portugal. If you go there be sure to visit Cake n Bake it will be worth the journey alone."

"I had lunch. a blase and spaghetti with garnel were good, stupid ok, but some bones were still in it. surprise: no cappuccino. espresso was in order. main problem: very slow service. and there were not so many customers."
