"Breakfast in the morning and I'm not one to come back to the holiday, as I want to experience as many places as possible, but that was very hard to beat. the coffee was beautiful and the competition kidnapper of yogurt, granola, nuts, cranberries. and sirup was the perfect start for a day to explore lyon. English speaking, but patiently allowed me to complete all transactions in my very limited French. merci!"

"In a city where gluten free is hard to come by this cafe is a gem in the crown Everything served is gluten free which for guests like myself takes the trauma out of scanning the menu to decide what you can/can’t have. Sandwiches, soups and a hot snack choice all come conveniently wrapped which beans you can eat in with fellow guests or can just take away. Drinks also include health juices to gluten free beer. The staff are very efficient and really helpful, and they even have pre-packed goodies like dried pasta or biscuits that I would struggle to locate in the UK If your in France and are gluten free this is definitely the place for you"

"What a nice café. We really enjoyed our visit here and found this café to be one of the best we’ve experienced in Lyon. The terrace is inviting as well as the main room consisting of several tables and a couple bar tables. Additionally, there is a smaller inside open air area towards the back with a few tables as well. It is located near the toilet and what appeared to be a prep/stock area for the café so it might be heavily trafficked during busy periods. We arrived before lunch and it was nice and quiet, the ideal environment to bring out your laptop and do some work, or have a nice chat with someone. This however, all changes when lunch time arrives. We had no idea how popular this place was for lunch and there was a constant stream of customers coming in to eat there and for take away. The lunch menu was rather good and very reasonable for what you get. On this day, there were four sandwich options and two salad options to choose from with various combinations to select from for your formule option. The salads looked very fresh and healthy as well as the sandwiches. We did not eat on this occasion and opted for several coffees. The mocha was not my favorite as I fear it consisted of only one shot of espresso. The next round we had flat whites and ensured that they were a double shot. The espresso they used was a very mild and smooth roast that while not intrusive, the flavor was diluted significantly with the addition of milk and chocolate, hence why we disliked the mocha we believe. The flat whites however, were up to our expectations. The staff was very friendly and the environment was very comfortable, with a hint of hipster vibe, but still very modern and warm. The location has free wifi but we did not have the opportunity to test out the speed and strength of connection on this visit. The cakes and pastries for the most part were the same that are sourced from a local bakery we have seen at numerous cafés throughout Lyon; however, they were actually more expensive at this location compared to some of the others, which was perplexing. Overall, we definitely liked everything about this café and will definitely visit again hopefully making it one of our new favorites and frequent hangouts."
