"Staff need lessons in customer service.I stood on my own at the counter waiting to be served while both of the staff were stood together looking at pictures on their smartphones.When my wife told them that a customer was waiting she got a childish and petulant alright I'm coming !! I walked off in disgust and won't be going back.A shame you can't give a zero score because this place deserves it."

"Our second visit to this restaurant. It was not so busy for a Sunday evening. As a result it was not too noisy. Staff were polite and friendly. We both had salmon fillet. The portions were not so large but we are ok with this as we are trying to reduce our calorie intake, However, we would not eat here without a discount voucher as the prices would then be far too high for the portions offered. Maybe they should consider plate sizes like small medium or large and you pay extra if you want a bigger meal. We shared a bottle of house red which is absolutely fine. Happy to say no loud birthday parties were taking place."

"We booked The Terrace for afternoon tea for 35 people to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday, The service and food, as always, was great. They were happy to accommodate all our requirements and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all the staff that made this a very special afternoon for us."

"I’m not going to rate the restaurant like usual, purely because… it’s a Maccies ain’t it Yeah, pleasantly surprised. I know there’s a huge debate about whether or not it’s spicy or not. It’s spicy. I’d actually prefer it to be spicier because I’m a f*ckin demon but I guess they have to cater for more people. And you know what, actually pretty flavourful, crispy but also a good level of moisture when you bite in. Looked like it did on the box and also a decent size. Yeah actually really enjoyed it. Would order again."

"Met with my best friend for a meal to celebrate my birthday and booked a table for early evening. We were made to feel very welcome and shown to a nice table near the back of the restaurant. Although it was only 6pm, within the hour, most of the tables were taken. You can bring your own wine for a small corkage fee. The menu choice is really good without being overwhelming, ranging from pasta and pizza to fish and steak. The prices are also very reasonable. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We shared a starter, then I had a risotto and my friend had a lasagne. We also decided to have a dessert and again, the choice was really good and there was something for every dietary requirement. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant but would suggest booking a table in advance."
