"Going through Mons on May 1, and decided to grab a bite. Our US ignorance caused us to expect plenty of establishments to be open to take advantage of holiday traffic there were none open except L'Auberge. That was fortunate for us, stunning views of the valley below (clear to the sea) from outside terrace seating, AND the food and service we're great as well. The turkey and the cheese plate were especially good. Casual, kid friendly, views and good food we we're lucky!"

"We stumbled over this place at midday and thought we would try. the personal was really friendly and also spoke a little English. we tried the 'entrée du moment,' which was in a bark meat consommé with small chorizo pieces in it...delicious we had the main thing of sucking pig, which was melted in the mouth and beautiful. for dessert our waiter recommended the reispudding that I tried and found amazing- it had caramel and roasted nuts in him and I will definitely try to house it. beautiful outdoor dining area with sun umbrellas and a psychedelic bathroom. great discovery in a small town."
