"Love the quirky alternative atmosphere here (like carpet on the ceiling and not the floor). Great live music at weekends. Friendly staff (miss Melissa though now she's gone off travelling). The Russian is a great meal had it every time I have been here. Great local café."

"Quick dinner for our last night visiting Kapiti Coast. Staff are friendly, informative and helpful. Ordered the chicken liver pate for entree and had the dish of the day, duck nasi goreng and pork belly for mains. Food was delicious, and mum couldn’t stop raving about the duck 10/10 she reckons. Sadly the pork was quite dry… which was a shame as the meal itself is divine. Great venue will be back approx $50pp including drinks."
