"We three gluttoneers descended on this great eatery on Sunday to celebrate my birthday, and we weren 't disappointed. The decor remains unchanged: light tiles and romantic lighting with warm prints on the walls. As always, we were greeted with warmth and the chat and laughter commenced almost immediately. Armed with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz for my wife and myself, and a Pornstar Martini for my sister, we made our selection from a varied menu, especially when you include their specials ' board. Two went for the Mango al Granchio, and one went for the Scallops Thermidor Pie; every dish was perfectly presented and was full of flavour. Our mains consisted of Scampi with rice; a Seafood Linguine; and a Gamberone Linguine: again they were all prepared to perfection in flavour, texture, and taste. This culinary excellence was christened with our favourite wine: Orvieto Amabile; a light Italian white with a hint of sweetness that complemented our meal splendidly. We found room for dessert: the birthday boy had the Apple Tart with a surprise candle and the guys singing 'Happy Birthday '. Many thanks for the rendition. We concluded this gastronomic brilliance with Sambucas, Ameretto, and a lemon tea, cappuccino, and black Americano. Plus, we had complimentary ones from our gracious hosts. This high standard of cuisine excellence, service, friendship, and laughter is the hallmark of Nino 's grazie mille! It was a truly uplifting dining experience. "If only I’d seen the owners reply to a bad review they got under their google reviews! Shockingly rude! A table was booked for 7.30pm tonight to celebrate an 18th Birthday, we pulled up it was closed! To see the look on these 4 girls faces, SHAME ON YOU!! Called no answer, finally answered by a rude man saying we open at 8! BS!!! You open at 6, no? As per your website? AVOID this place after the way they let down these young girls tonight, no sorry nothing! Thankfully Turquise in Loughton fitted them in at the last minute......ps. Now abuse me, be rude and call me a liar like you did the other bad review!!! NO STARS"

"The welcome was warm and friendly and the place looked clean and tidy. They delivered the coffee and cake to me at my table. The coffee was as expected, full flavoured and hot. As one table of customers left the cups etc were cleared away within moments."

"I go for a bacon roll and cup of tea here every week and it has never let me down. Dave and Karliya, the owners, are really friendly and the food is excellent value for money. Bacon roll day is my favourite day of the week!"

"We had a Groupon voucher, but even without, it's only £9.99 for two people to have afternoon tea. The cake stands were beautiful, the coffee house is beautiful, and the food was delicious. You choose your sandwiches from the menu, and they bring them up on the stand with gorgeous little cakes and tarts, and lovely fresh fruit, and then they bring out scones and toasted teacakes. We've posted the photos on Facebook and already our friends are arranging dates with us as they want to go. So we will be going back very soon!"
