"Local coffee and wine place with small food menu for breakfast and lunch (think Starbucks display case). Also sell coffee by the bag and wine by the bottle. Had a cappuccino with extra foam and a pumpkin walnut danish, danish was warmed up. Very good on a rainy day. Have a seat and they will call you when your order is ready. Very patient and friendly staff, as I could not decide what I wanted. Relaxing atmosphere is modern industrial without plenty of seating inside or outside. Many people working on a computer. A bit pricey for me but I will definitely come back."

"Here is the thing. If you want a place that cares about the stuff they serve, go to the kookaburra. They custom make their syrups that go into their specialty drinks and use nothing but the highest quality ingredients. The milk and cream they use for their espresso drinks is locally sourced and high quality. I've been going to the kookaburra for well over 6 months now and I can tell you, it is the best coffee shop in St Augustine. Oh, and if you want a proper pour over, they know what they are doing. GREAT STUFF."

"I 'm sorry we do not have wi-fi and do not allow laptops. These were the owners/baristas 1st greeting words to us as we approach the order counter. The sign went on to mention talk to each other like it 's 1995. A coffee house with no parking, high prices, and rules for customers including no laptops (stand alone sign on the bar countertop with verbal regulators is hard to find these days. They use Guatemalan Sumatra non-organic coffee from all over the place rather than responsible single source organically grown coffee. The best part of this place was the owner 's artwork displayed everywhere. While maybe lacking in business ethics and customer service, we must award 1 gold star for the atmosphere which would be a 3 star if not for the distracting table saw led home improvement happening on the property. The wrap around deck was nice but unbearable without some moving air. (maybe install ceiling fans? They had those in 1995 didn 't they?"

"We were interested to visit it because how the place looks like from outside and we decided to go in and order. Cashier was not enthusiastic to attend customers, we asked from different drinks and did not have the ingredients. No variety available like mentioned in the menu. In the end we ordered, tea and coffees, and both were not good. Hot coffee was cold and chai tea was horrible."

"Breakfast burrito and Mad Mountain Coffee. City Coffee always has 5 or 6 different selections of brewed coffee ready. Every day one of those selections has to be the Mad Mountain brew. It has to be available from open to close because, if it isn't available, some customers wait until we brew a pot. It is that addictive! And the breakfast burrito is king of the call in orders in the mornings. With eggs, sausage and cheese in a wrap and a side of salsa, its a tasty compliment to the Mad Mountain. Try it today!"
