"Excellent value for money. My wife and I have been eating a three course lunch on a Sunday at the Exclsve. The food was not too fancy we basically had a roast with a lot of side dishes for main course. But it was freshly prepared (notably a crispy and skillfully seasoned red cabbage a vegetable that is all too often neglected and just cooked too mushy and oversweetened) of high quality ingredients and nicely arranged and really quite a lot on the plate for small money (considering the usual pricing at Manchester restaurants). Service was very attentive and friendly, although it has to be taken into account, that it was quite empty for lunch, so I cannot comment on what the service is like when it is fully booked."

"Without a doubt one of the best restaurants I've visited in a long, long time. I've visited a few times now and it's almost as if it gets better with each visit. The food is perfect every time. Full of flavour and depth as well as plenty of earthy bases (with certain dishes) that really make for a brilliant food experience. The staff are all very friendly and make sure you're happy without going too far. With a friendly greeting as you arrive to quick and easy service the staff do not disappoint. The value for money is second to none. Unlicenced so take your own drinks with a small corkage to pay on beers and wines. Even after a few bottle of wine and starters and mains for a couple, with tip and a satisfying meal you can expect to pay under the £50 mark. A real gem of a place. I'd recommend to anyone visiting they try the coconut sizzling dish before any other but it's great to have a few things treat yourself to many varieties of such great food."

"We only called in for a quick brew and a bite to eat and stayed a good few hours. Customer service from Dave was spot on. There was a delay with the food which Dave apologised for and offered us a free brew each (and...a slice of very tasty cake He even asked for our taste in music and gave a playlist to suit. Dave also had good negotiating skills as we were talked into having a gin!! Highly recommended and will call again."
