"We like this location in Jeffersonville but for ambiance, not as much as the original location on Bardstown Road in Louisville. The service was excellent, our server was tops. The menu is great with lots of favorites and the full bar is good. We requested a window table for Valentine's Day and made the reservation well in advance. On arrival we were told that there were no window tables available. We sat at our table and noticed the same half dozen window tables that were empty during our entire time in the restaurant. When I politely expressed my displeasure over this, the hostesses told me that they had no way to know about cancellations and no shows. I mentioned that people failing to arrive might be a clue and that offering to reseat us at a window table would have been appropriate. Oh well...we'll likely remember this the next time we eat out"

"To start this off, I must put out there that this restaurant had little COVID protocols in place. We have eaten out at restaurants in Louisville which all had strict COVID protocols in place. It must an Indiana misfortune of medical negligence. We won’t be returning to Indiana for eating out. Had the red pepper soup which was very nice as a starter, husband had stuffed mushrooms which he loved. I wanted the veal marsala which they were out of veal but would have liked to been told that as we were presented with menus instead of having to go over menu again for another choice. Bad hostessing and management IMOP. The wine was ok. We both ordered the seafood with marsala over linguini. It was ok. The shrimp and calamari was overcooked in it and having to pry off the tails of shrimp while getting our fingers filthy With Marsala sauce didn’t sit well with us. The garlic rolls that accompanied the meal were not very garlicky. The size portion of entree was good. We ordered dessert chocolate mousse for hubby which came in the form of cheesecake like consistency and form, way to heavy to be called a mousse. Someone there needs to look up the definition of mousse. I put in for grand mariner soufflé when we put in our appetizer orders as requested on menu for enough time to make. When my soufflé came out it looked good, when spooning into it the top and sides were edible but the rest was way undercooked. I had to send back. They apologized and took it off our bill. Needless to say we won’t return."
