"Reading previous reviews, we were looking forward to having a wonderful dinner. We made reservations for 6:30pm as this was Mother's Day. We arrived early and there was a lines out the door. 3 parties for 6:30pm were waiting outside including us. We got our table around 7pm. There was someone playing playing an electronic keyboard by the door. He had an odd array of music for an Italian restaurant. He went from Oye Coma Va by Santana to Fernando by Abba. He had the back instruments play through the keyboard. He would sing at times too. Streaming music from computer would be more appropriate. Anyway, we ordered the highly touted garlic bread as the appetizer followed by the boneless short ribs. We waited 20 minutes and still no garlic bread. A table seated after us received theirs before us. Their waiter apologized for their bread arriving late and said it would be comped. Owura was much later with no apology. The short ribs came and seemed on the chewy side. I mentioned to my girlfriend that the varied music and the service reminded of being on a cruise or at a casino. We wanted to try the lemoncello for dessert but as slow everything came, we had it to go. That was the best part of the dinner. I'd give the dessert 4 out of 5. Then the garlic bread 3 out of 5. The short ribs a 2 out of 5. Service and ambience 1.5 out of 5. I wish it was better but hope it will improve in time."

"I wanted to try this place on the basis of reviews for vegan options, but after reading their website I decided against: reiskäse is available as alternative to mozzarella. rice cheese is lactose-free and made with rice milk. it is not 100% vegan because it contains casein"

"My place to grab a sandwich! Only the white (Italian) bread is vegan. Avo Wich comes with double Avo Standard and Caprese Wich (Hold the Cheese) has double tomatoes. The burdens of Veggies' decisions to make your way. Some of the topping run through the toaster, so your wanker is warm in all the right places. YUM, do you need help? Vegan options are published. Unfortunately no vegan Mayo. Cross-contamination is a concern like any non-veg place. Service can be slow."

"Here for dinner on Saturday night and loved it. had the fried pimento cheese appetizer and the fried green tomato caprese starter and both were great. I had the Peruvian huh and my man got the Grown-up macaroni and bee with steak. both were so tasteful and fresh. the ambiente of the room is definitiw more a lunch spot wishing it felt a little bit cozier for an evening meal date, but with eating that well we will certainly be back for more evening meal in the near future and lunch also!"
