"Arrived late to the hotel and every local restaurant was closed or no longer seating or offering take out. The wonderful ladies here stayed open and made a wonderful dinner. Thank you so much ? Calamari and sliders were amazing!"

"My daughter and I really like the food in all Il Foraio restaurants that we have tried (Coronado, Santa Monica and Del Mar), but we have found the settings and service of the restaurant staff at the Del Mar site to be unpleasant. The employees we treated were pretentious, unpleasant and inefficient. We waited for the service until the last time we had eaten there, that we almost gave up and left. Our water and tea glasses were never filled again, and our salad plates were sitting on the table during the duck, although we asked to remove them. My daughter loves the French toast served on Sunday brunch, but if not for the Pasta Putanesca, and that there is a long drive to another Il Fornaio site, I wouldn't return."

"We went with another couple and all of us were very happy with our orders. Both the branzino and halibut were amazing. Each couple split the arugula salad which was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will go back."
