"Recommended this place by a good friend of mine .. The food was ace .. Starters we had Mozzarella sticks and Nachos .. nice and fresh and tasted really good .. They had some unusual flavoured Mojitos and as I am obsessed with Irn Bru, I had to have an Irn Bru Mojito. It was nice but rather steeply priced for a soft drink £5) .. but I guess you pay for what you are getting!!! For mains we had minted burgers, lamb burger, crispy chicken burger and a Sunday roast .. All were fully of flavour and tasted very nice .. Very filling .. the burgers came with skin on fries .. For deserts we had Churros, Bakewell tart with custard) and bizarrely a fried ice cream ball .. Never heard of a friend scream cream ball before but damn it was nice looking .. My mate didn’t share .. lol All the food was halal and I would definitely go back .. all in all and great experience … The staff were great and accommodating .. Just make sure you call first and book a table .."

"We used to visit this cafe every saturday morning week in and week out for breakfast or luch but since their refurbishment it has gone downhill dramatically. Never much choice of sandwiches, hardly ever have gluten free roll to go with the soup, the old catering staff that were lovely cheerfull and helpfull have dissapeared and been replaces by what i can only describe as moaning old dinner ladies. The coffee sed to be gorgeous now its so strong i can no longer drink it even when i ask for a weak one it is like tar. Fortunately costa coffee had opened up and sadly to say marks and sparks has lost lots of its customers from the cafe."
