"This place is in the hills high above Horta, on a farm. This is not like a typical town or city restaurant. It is more like eating with a family. We met a group of locals (some had come over from Pico to eat the Leitao ! It was great fun, the complete pig was roasted in an old wood oven and was superb. Try some local wine or some wine from Alentejo with it and afterwards some local Aguadente. The owner is very nice, music is from a collection of old LPs from which you can choose the music. We were also cooked some good beef after the pork was finished. This is a fun and rustic place. Best to phone a day or so before as the Suckling Pig needs to be prepared and slow roasted."
