"My husband and I decided to try a schneeballen, as we discovered that it was a specialty of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. They certainly looked appealing in the display, but in reality were not all that tasty, and also not very easy to eat. We ordered the milk chocolate schneeballen to share, as one is quite large, and it seemed to be made with cheap chocolate. The cream filling was dense and grainy, which was not enjoyable. Also, their toilet costs money to use. I didn’t ask if paying customers were an exception because staff was busy with the long line of people, but I imagine everyone probably has to pay."
