"Woe is me for choosing a place before looking at reviews. Despite the sweet waitress, clean bathrooms, and cute first impression, the food was very disappointing and expensive. I would say don’t get the very salty onion soup or the very peppery spaghetti carbonara as I did, but instead I’ll suggest trying a different place altogether. Also, in my opinion a TV shouldn’t be going non-stop during dining. People can do that at home"

"We decided to try this as we liked their menu. We usually do not eat at a hotel but the review were so good and we see why. Unfortunately, it was a very windy day so we could not take advantage of their incredible terrace they view is magnificent. But the inside is very nice. Vera served us and she is an absolutely wonderful lady so friendly and kind. And the food is fantastic. We had their minestrone soup that is probably the best we have ever had chock full of vegetable. Their pasta with lemon and bacon is absolute perfection. It absolutely is as is their Carbonara. They have an excellent wine list and the prices are very reasonable. We plan on returning in a few days to see Vera again and sit out on their magnificent terrace."

"This restaurant earned a Michelin Star. Honestly, I think they would lose it if it were rated today. Having said that, I found no fault with the food ordered by my table, but none of it rose to the level of exceptional. The pasta carbonara, the pasta arrabiata, the veal, and the rack of lamb was good but truthfully, I have had better. The ambiance is on the dark side with ornate chairs at each table. Service was minimal supplied by a young lady who was kepy busy by about ten diners in the dining room. As soon as you sit down at table, you owe 2.50 Euros per person it's a cover charge for the tableware. (There is a nearby restaurant with a similar menu without a cover charge. You can do better in Assisi."
