"My wife was making some scratch carbonara and sent me on a errand to obtain some guanciale. Not only did they have it, but the sweet Italian lady even taught me how to pronounce the word gwan-CHA-lay! and offered to cut it however I needed. I ended up getting a New Orleans Style Muffoletta (their specialty) and a Godfather to bring home (sadly not a real Italian Godfather, but the sandwich was the next best thing). Sorry, I couldn 't refuse. Ok I 'll stop, but seriously, best muffoletta I 've ever had and the Godfather, much like the movie, did not disappoint."

"Amazing meal prepared with perfection. I'm glad we found this place on our short visit to Baton Rouge. Our waiter Bruno was a great server that required our needs without hesitation. We had the lamb dogs that were perfect. Ready with the Teramisu, who came with a birthday candle in honor of my wife's birthday the next day. Don't miss this place."
