"There's only a few customers and 1 hour had passed but our order was not prepared yet. My wife only ordered salad. Later customers got their orders first. Bad service! Very disappointed! Not coming back."

"I stopped in with friends for lunch and we decided to try a few different dishes and share. There was a lunch special on which meant the dishes we picked were only $10 each, rather than the usual price of $16-$17, so it was exceptionally good value. My favourite dish was the Goddess Salad which had the creamiest Persian feta with lots of dried cranberries and crunchy pepitas on top of mixed greens with a tangy lemon, lime and olive oil dressing. The Margherita pizza was quite a decent size and the crust was beautifully light and crisp. The Mushroom Linguine had a fairly light sauce rather than a traditional creamy mushroom sauce and it was initially a little bland. After a little seasoning with the salt paper grinders on the table, the flavours really lifted and I really enjoyed the dish. Service was quick and friendly too."

"Skandalous!. I was initially hesitant about Skandels. But it was really quite tasty. And the price... pretty damn good. Had me the spaghetti carbonara and meat lovers pizza and what can I say, I'll be back. The carbonara had egg as part of its sauce this is how real carbonara is made. Not many places dare) do it right by tossing through a raw egg. Pizza base was thin crust, crisp, without being bready or yeasty. Extensive menu and good service. It does feel like an institutional cafeteria, but very good value. Can't complain. Straight forward, no nonsense dining. Oh, for dessert, I had me the pancakes with lemon $6.50) plus extra ice cream $2). Really quite tasty, why pay more for ambience, location etc, come to think of it?"

"I went here on the weekend and they managed to squeeze me in without a booking. The food is not cheap but it is delicious, inventive, service is great and the menu is not too large which I like. They can then focus on quality and get it out quickly. I tried the zucchini flowers, smoked quail and veal ragu. The ragu was slightly disappointing. The sauce was a bit light and watery. The zucchini flowers were steamed and plump full of prawn. The quail was lovely and smokey. All in all a delicious journey for the tastbuds and highly recommended. With a glass of wine it came to $72.00"

"Went to Eat and Meet with my husband and we were greeted by a rude manager type who refused to reset a table quoting I 'm not resetting the table, its the last service he said it quite rudely and abruptly, absolutely no care factor what so ever. very interesting considering they close at 10pm when we visited at 7:45pm . Very poor attitude especially when I asked very nicely."
