"This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the Autograph Hotel for a nice light lunch. It’s a mystery how a restaurant could mess up sales that badly. The Caesar salad included ingredients not usually in the Caesar so we ordered one tuna salad one Greek salad. The Greek salad was awful. The tomatoes were not ripe and tasteless, no onions, no oregano, and worst of all, canned black olives you’d use for pizza. The salads took 30 minutes to arrive, when we mentioned the issues with the food, the restaurant didn’t care. It’s really hard to mess up salad, yet they were inedible. Pizza looked ok but I’d recommend finding somewhere else. Truly. One of the worst restaurants I’ve visited, and I’ve lived in the UK (jk)"

"The Service was friendly but very Unprofessionel. Once we ordered, we got the drinks and Food but They Never ask us for any more Drinks or desert, even though we were 4 Hours in the restaurant. The waiters weren‘t busy, so it was not clear, why the was so unmotivated to bring us more Drinks.. We had to wait really Long inbetween the courses. A friend joined us, we played a Game, but there waiters didn’t came and ask the new guest what to drink…. The food: First: We waited really long for Every meal. Second: No meal was good: it wasnt really Tasty, not salted, some meals were cold, (Pasta) .and: the pumkin lasagne was without Pasta, just with pumpkin, Béchamel Sauce and cheese, so really fat and it was not possible to finish This meal because of that. In the end i told the waitress about the lasagne without Pasta and because of my unhappiness she brought us shots. That was very Nice."

"Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly, helpful wait staff, terrific owner! We loved the place and highly recommended it. Carbonara with a touch of asparagus; wonderful! First class Branzino and great Ossobuco, washed down with a lovely Montepulciano, all for about 100 Euro. Go there. You will have a lovely evening."

"Very kind staff, very helpful and welcoming; you can breathe a beautiful family atmosphere. delicious food, excellent quality raw materials. great attention both in the kitchen and in the presentation of the dishes, and in the cleaning. I recommend it to everyone, especially those looking for quality Tuscan cuisine and a stone's throw from the cathedral and not from the usual tourist restaurant."

"Aroma was a great find. The meal was wonderful, with numerous seafood selections on the menu. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The seafood stew we enjoyed tasted as though the fish was just caught, cooked, and served to us. Our host was so warm and welcoming. You can tell when someone has a passion for the food and wine he is serving. He was very attentive without being overbearing. And the pace of the service was excellent. If you’re planning to visit Florence, get a reservation at Aroma. You won’t be disappointed; it’s a cut above the rest!"

"Decided to have dinner after reading good reviews. We have been in Italy for two weeks and this was our first mistake. Menu offers risotto but dish is made with rice. And pretty sure the shrimp served with it were not fresh. But if you are looking for a budget meal, this is your place."
